Community Reparation: Partnership between Ministry of Agriculture and CCDH

As part of the implementation of the recommendations of the Equity and Reconciliation Commission, mainly on the community reparation program, the Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Mr. Aziz Akhnouch, and the CCDH President, Mr. Ahmed Herzenni, signed an agreement of partnership and cooperation on March 12, 2009.

CCDH Calls for a "Comprehensive and Integrated" Strategy against Impunity

In a statement read by Mr. Mahjoub El Haiba, CCDH Secretary General, given on the occasion of the 7th National Congress of the Moroccan Organization for Human Rights (OMDH), organized under the theme of combating impunity: a challenge to the institutionalization of the rule of law (Rabat, March 27-29, 2009), Mr. Herzenni, CCDH President, called for a "comprehensive, integrated and multilateral" strategy against impunity, calling civil society to support the CCDH work given the fact that they it is a force of proposal, through enhancing its capacities as regards research and study.

Community Reparation: The Commitment of the Entraide Nationale

After the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Agency of the East, the CDG (a financial group), the European Union, the United Nations Development Fund for Women (UNIFEM), the Ministry of Employment and the Royal Institute for Amazigh Culture, the Ministry of Housing, Town Planning and Development, the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education, Staff Training and Scientific Research, the Agency of the Development of the Southern Provinces, the provincial councils of Azilal, Tan-Tan and Khemisset, the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries and the Moroccan Cinematographic Center (CCM), the Advisory Council on Human Rights (CCDH) signed a framework agreement of partnership with the Entraide Nationale on April 27, 2009 in Rabat, for the support of social programs to benefit populations in a precarious situation in areas where the community reparation is being applied.
