The National Council for Human Rights, Egypt

The National Human Rights Council and the (Egyptian) National Council for Human Rights signed on the 16th of June 2013 a Memorandum of Understanding to foster cooperation and coordination and exchange and practices and experiences on human rights issues of common interest.

Cooperation between the two NHRIs includes: exchange visits, exchange of publications, organization of joint training sessions and activities and support of Arab issues in relations with human rights in regional and international forums and meetings.

The two institutions also undertake to support each other in human rights education, the promotion of the culture of human rights and capacity building.
