Mr Mohamed Naciri

Ministry of Justice

Mohamed Naciri was born in Casablanca in 1939, held a degree in law and a diploma from the Moroccan Institute of High Studies.

He engaged in the profession of lawyer since 1964. He assumed the post of First Secretary; then Barrister of the Bar Association of Casablanca. He was several times member of the Bar Council.

In 1993, he was a member of the Constitutional Chamber of the Supreme Court and, between 1994 and 1999, member of the Constitutional Council. He also acted as a counsel for several ministries, public institutions and local communities. This lawyer, Knight of the Order of the Throne, directed the Gazette "courts of morocco" for 6 years and published a ""Study on the process of Civil Procedure", as well as many articles.

The lawyer Mohamed Naciri was appointed as Justice Minister by HM King Mohammed VI on Monday (January 4th, 2010.
