Mr. Abdelmajid Makni, Chairperson of RHRC of Fez - Meknes
Born in 1960, in Rabat Mr. Makni holds a BA in Political Science (1988) at the Faculty of Law and Economics (Mohamed V University –Rabat). He has been the regional coordinator of the Social Development Agency in the Region Fez - Boulemane since 2007. Mr. Makni is a trainer in the areas of association management, sustainable human capacity building, mobilization of local resources, etc. He is the representative of several international NGOs in Morocco including People Health Movement. He initiated and directed community programs in the area of childhood and disability. Mr. Makni is consultant to various non-governmental organizations. He is the Secretary General of a group for the promotion of disability rights. He contributed to several publications and articles in the areas of childhood, disability and rehabilitation, including a book on disability in Morocco: In Our Own Words (1997).
